You may not have followed the “It don’t mean nothing” link. It is for some, a chosen embrace of a defense of sanity that need not be taught. A memorable quote from a Magnum PI episode pertained to man’s ability to accept the unacceptable. Wound slow to heal doing damage over time.
Buddhist meditation has taught me that I can view thoughts/emotions as mind objects which are personal reactions to reality and dismiss them. We have little control over the reality of the situations in life, but perhaps some over our reaction to it. Will that lead to enlightenment or a big damned meltdown or health issue? Something for me to explore which is why I said thank you.
