There are women, not just feminists, who complain that medical studies are most often about men (XY chromosome) and do not address some issues that women (XX chromosome) uniquely have. When a trans person is with a doctor I assume (I’m not a doctor) that they must consider the chromosome gender as it pertains to medical differences in men and women and additionally the effects of hormone therapy. How much is known about the importance of that?
The transgender muddies the medical water and when you add the transgender athlete where one day all women’s records may be held by women with a Y chromosome I can’t see how there could not be friction. It is a mystery to me how the T got added to the LBG in the first place.
