Something I’ve learned from Vipassanā is that it is the nature of the mind to think and most of those thoughts might as well be chattering monkeys. The method is not about not thinking, that’s quite impossible, but rather to acknowledge “thinking, thinking, thinking” and dismiss that thought which you might be quite attached to at the moment. Gaining the ability to dismiss a thought as being just a mind object is valuable. I think it leads to the point of your article but with a different twist on it.
