Misogyny, overt or subtle in rock came from the blues Blues “Hello little school girl”, I’m a backdoor man”, “Creeping king snake” and now we have the extreme of hip-hop that is too vulgar to quote here. More subtle in “Summer (First Time)” or “Fat Bottom Girl” but yes, it’s a thing. Thanks to modern SJWs and articles like this I’ve been noticing it in songs where it went unnoticed for a lifetime.

We are all subject to the zeitgeist of our environment and as that changes people become judgmental to the standards of their different time and culture. Shall we destroy songs along with statues and history unless used to point a finger of damnation at those we wish to find fault with?

Retired and living my golden years in a world full of angry people.
