As a white man with an Asian wife I’ve thought about this but you just told it at another level. My daughters are not defeminized by their race. If anything they are fetishised as exotic beauties. I don’t have sons, but I do have grandsons. Asian men face what you have described and I selfishly find it troubling because it may adversely affect them. Would I have even thought about it if I only had granddaughters and no sons or grandsons? Maybe not. My white male privilege at work. Thank you for writing this.
